About

Introduction

The West Marin Resource Guide is an online directory to community life in West Marin. The guide includes local non-profit groups and governmental agencies that provide services here, plus listings for local businesses and services, including individuals who wish to share their skills in all areas of expertise.

New and emerging local projects and businesses, as well as established ones, and individuals with skills and resources to share, are encouraged to list and update their information in this guide so that this source becomes a rich and full representation of our local communities.

History and Creation

This guide was conceived in 2007 by Point Reyes Books, Point Reyes Nation, Think Local First West Marin, and West Marin Commons. Initial funding for the West Marin Resource Guide was provided by Think Local First West Marin and the Lia Fund. West Marin Resource Center provides fiscal sponsorship.

The site was developed by Uli Weeren (www.studioweeren.com) with assistance from Elizabeth Barnet. If you would like to join the West Marin Resource Guide team of volunteer moderators, please contact us.
